About GYMKA

GYMKA is a free strength-tracking platform built for lifters who want to measure progress, not just journal it. It goes beyond a workout log by estimating your one-rep max, calculating your strength-to-bodyweight ratio, and assigning a tier for every lift, so you always know where you stand and what to aim for next.

Who's behind GYMKA

Gabriel Younes · Founder & Editor

Gabriel Younes is passionate about sport and the founder of GYMKA. After years of training, he got tired of “is that lift actually good?” having no honest answer, so he built GYMKA to turn every set into a measurable, comparable number. He writes and edits GYMKA's training guides.

I built GYMKA because I wanted my own progress to be measurable, not a vague feeling. If a guide here helps you add one clean rep, it has done its job.

What makes GYMKA different

Numbers, not vibes

Most trackers just store what you did. GYMKA turns each set into an estimated 1RM, a strength-to-bodyweight ratio, and a per-exercise tier, so “was that good?” finally has an honest answer.

Guides written by a lifter

Our training and nutrition guides are written and edited by hand from real training experience and established strength-science principles, not spun out to pad a page for ads.

Fair, calibrated ranks

Tiers are calibrated separately for every lift, so a Diamond bench and a Diamond squat mean comparable achievement even though the kilos are completely different.

Our mission

We believe strength should be measurable and motivating. Whether you're a beginner hitting your first milestones or an advanced lifter chasing an elite tier, GYMKA gives you the tools to track every rep, celebrate personal records, and share the journey with a community that gets it.

How we write our guides

Every guide in our training library is written and edited in-house from real training experience and well-established strength-science principles: formulas like Epley and Brzycki for 1RM, and Mifflin-St Jeor for energy expenditure. We favour plain language over jargon, keep advice practical, and mark our health content with a clear disclaimer because information is not a substitute for a doctor or coach.
